I hear the tiny sounds of faerie radio every once in awhile. Sometimes it comes in crystal clear surround-sound while other days all I hear is the sputter and crackle of white noise. Yet, since my very own wee fae came into my home I have been able to get a much better reception to the station's songs, radio-host talk as well as advertising commercial breaks. Although, in all honesty, I don't think anyone wants to really know how faerie commercials go. Truthfully, the ads tend to center quite a bit on glitter, glamours, confections, potions and spells. As an example, just the other day I heard a rather upbeat and melodious commercial about a wing-rot concoction comprised of a terrifically smelly cream, fresh cat-furballs and angry monkey ear wax. There was also something about the rainbow sheen from oily patches included in the mixture... sounded like a rather gruesome salve. By the way, it wasn't a commercial for a wing-rot cure. (Sometimes the fae can be incorrigible pranksters. Luckily my fae, Fennel and Bramble, were not in the room when this commercial was airing!) | So recently with the influx of all the new fae, a shiny new song popped up on the top tracks played each day. So I think I will share it here with the congratulations to all the wonderful new guardians that were (and are!) stalking the mailbox... Stork in the MailStork in the mailbox on Monday, to bring home my own baby fae. One is due home right this moment... Another comes later today! Stork in the mailbox on Tuesday, to bring home a fae oh-so sweet. One I found stuck in some honey-butter... Another near the cookie jar imploring a treat! Stork in the mailbox on Wednesday, to snag my own tiny fae-child. Discovered one dancing through sunbeams in the attic... the other in the garden going wild! Stork in the mailbox on Thursday, to snuggle with a new faebaby friend. One was snuggled deep in a sock drawer... Another streaked by so fast all I saw was a glowing rear end! Stork in the mailbox on Friday, to carry my onliest fae home. Revealed one peeking at me from the bathroom... an extra one in the sink covered head to toe in soapy foam! Stork in the mailbox on Saturday, to cuddle my own fae in my spirit. Saw one behind some books on the bookshelf... Another hiding amongst couch pillows near it! Stork in the mailbox on Sunday, to cozy up with a tiny fae in my heart. One slept curled sweetly in the palm of my hand... The other whispering on my shoulder near my ear, "We shall never part!" |

I am so excited to share what I have been creating with the other fae-guardians! Know what? I think they will be excited with me. That is definitely part of the charm, enchanted spirit and wonder that came with Bramble and Fennel when they entered my life! How magical is that?
So , I have been anticipating the arrival of several dolls this month (two already came in but these are not the one I am referring to here). What is so special about waiting for some dolls to arrive you say? Well, they are faeries for one. I'm big on fantasy. But you want to know what is really special about them? These dolls glow in the dark. Yes. Glow. In the Dark. How is that not awesome? For anyone not familiar with the first Fidelia Firefly Faerie you are in for a treat. These wee minikins glow brightly after charged in bright light. Although there was a bit of tragic history related to the first release of these unique bjds, Charles of Charles Creature Cabinet still has a vast fan following that just would not let him quit and hide away from the world of dolls. There was a heartfelt demand that could not be filled by any other doll sculptor and if you have seen the precious creations of Charles Creature Cabinet you can understand why his fans would not let him disappear without reviving this spunky glowing fea. One of his staunchest supporters, Grace of Jpopdolls, was the biggest push for the reissue of the fabulous Firefly Faeries and the reason why Fidelia is enjoying another glowcoming. It is also why so many fans are getting the chance they missed the first time around.
